PRIVACY POLICY

Gunma Shoyu Miso Industry Cooperative Association, hereinafter referred to as “our Association,” has established the following privacy policy, hereinafter referred to as “this policy,” regarding the handling of personal information collected from users on this website.

Article 1 [Personal Information]
“Personal information” refers to personal information as defined in Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and refers to information about living individuals based on the name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information and other descriptions contained in the information, as well as information that can identify a specific individual from the information alone (personal identification information), such as the insurer number on a health insurance card.

When a user accesses this website and makes a request, such as an application or inquiry, to any of the businesses operated, commissioned, or affiliated with our Association, we will collect personal information (that can identify a specific individual, such as name, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, fax number, and email address).

Article 3 [Purposes for Collecting and Using Personal Information]
The purposes for which our Association collects and uses personal information are as follows:
To provide information about business activities to breweries affiliated with our Association as necessary.
To conduct surveys and reports to relevant parties regarding usage status and usage environment.
To provide information about products, goods and services handled by our Association and to respond to inquiries from our users (including identity verification).
For market research and other research and surveys.
To conclude and fulfill contracts with business partners, post-contract management, and other necessary business communications and negotiations with business partners.
To manage information on business partners, processing invoices, payments and deposits, and to manage receivables and payables.

When our Association receives a request for an individual to disclose, correct, or suspend the use of personal information, we will confirm that the request is from the individual and will disclose, correct, or suspend the use of the information in accordance with the law or regulation. However, if disclosure would result in any of the following, we may not disclose all or part of the information, and if we decide not to disclose the information, we will notify of this decision without delay.
When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
When there is a risk that the proper execution of our Association’s business may be seriously hindered.
When it violates law or regulation.

Article 7 [Handling of Members’ Store Information]
The business information posted on this website discloses member information only for breweries that are current members of our Association.
Therefore, we will not disclose information of businesses that are not members of our Association or that have withdrawn from our Association.

Article 8 [Suspension of use of Personal Information]
If an individual requests that our Association suspend use of or delete their personal information, hereinafter referred to as “suspension of use,” on the grounds that their personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the intended use, or that it was obtained by illegal means, our Association will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
If our Association conducts suspension of use based on the above provisions, or if we decide not to conduct suspension of use, we will notify the user without delay.

Article 9 [Changes in Privacy Policy]
The contents of this policy may be changed without notice to users, except for matters specified by law or other provisions in this policy.
Unless otherwise specified by our Association, the revised privacy policy will take effect when it is posted on the website.
